What are the general performance of nitrile rubber?
Nitrile rubber is a light brown elastomer with a molecular weight of about 700,000. Due to the strong polar CN group, it has excellent stability to aliphatic hydrocarbon oils and gasoline. And according to the different divisions of ACN enlightenment:
Very high nitrile rubber: ACN content of more than 43%
High nitrile rubber: ACN content 36%-42%
Medium and high nitrile rubber: ACN content 31%-35%
Medium nitrile rubber: ACN content 25%-30%
Low nitrile rubber: ACN content below 24%
General performance
Nitrile rubber has better heat resistance. Its heat resistance is better than natural rubber and styrene butadiene rubber. The long-term use temperature can reach 100 degrees Celsius, and it can be used for 40 days at 120 degrees Celsius.
1.The ozone resistance is worse than CR and better than NR.
2.Give rubber better physical and mechanical properties and wear resistance through reinforcement.
3.When the acrylonitrile content of the nitrile rubber is 39%, the air tightness is equivalent to that of the IIR rubber, and the air tightness is better.
4.Generally flexible at low temperature.
5.Excellent antistatic performance.
6.The plasticizing effect of polar lipids is better.
7.Good compatibility with polar substances, such as PVC, alkyd resin, nylon.
8.The self-adhesiveness is low, and the heat generation during the mixing process is large.
